It appears it suggests to hit Arcane Missiles on AB0 and there is a big gap between burn and 15k, no inbetween.

I'm not saying it's wrong, it's just looks weird and I can't justify it.

That looks very common to me. In general the neutral cycle will always be a mix, which in the above case is a mix of AB spam and AB spam with reset of AM on proc. What this means in practice is that if you need to reset you reset regardless of what stack of AM you're at, but use just enough AB4 to maintain neutral mps.
