Prot Paladin Meta

Hi,

I was just wondering how up to date the prot pali module was. I optimized my gear using the mitigation scale and it is suggested I use the mastery meta. EJ suggests only using the armor and block value meta. Can someone explain why rawr is suggesting the mastery gem? Of course I understand mastery's importance in avoidance but from what I understand the mastery meta isn't as effective as the other two.

Thanks,

Monk

something is differnt.  see attached file) while yes, Mastery is good, take a look at Stat Values - Relative Stat Values, .. Mastery is not THAT good.

I will loko for an existing issue ticket, and either add my file or make a new one.

To see model status go to this page:

http://rawr.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Models

According to that page ProtPally is "mostly" ready.

we understand "mostly".  I doubt that the intent is for the Dev of the model to work in a vaccume.  Especially if something changes.  The Dev may not be aware that what "was working" no longer works as intended.

i put in a ticket, with details, and a file.

That model status page says right on it that it hasn't been updated since July.

The Protection Paladin module has been running broken optimizations for *months.* Use http://www.askmrrobot.com until it gets fixed, assuming it ever does.

To be fair, that was the last time I got motivated to update the page.  I'm gonna work on it now.

It also doesn't take into account the CTC, i.e. the attack table shows 0 hits (block capped) but mastery still continues to be rated very high.
