Resize Item Icons for use with Netbooks?

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for their efforts with Rawr. This is a great piece of software that I use often.

Even though the optimizer is very CPU Intensive, I find it very helpful to run Rawr on my netbook which is running at 1024x600 resolution. When doing this, I lose the bracer and bottom trinkets from the screen. Would it be possible to either add a scroll bar or resize the item icons when the resolution is under 1024x768? I'm not an expert programmer, but I'm pretty sure the former is easier, but would prefer the latter if possible. While many people have low-cost netbooks, I understand that netbooks are still a "new craze" and would be willing to test a lower-resolution friendly version as well as provide screenshots or any information that would make this easier for the Rawr team.

Yeah, if you wanted to post a screenshot of Rawr, maximized, that'd help.

Here's one with standard XP theme. If you want one with classic theme let me know. Thanks a ton for considering this.

I'd like to see this feature as well, same resolution on my netbook. Having a netbook in bed before light out doing the tweaking is nice. :)

I'd also like the option to hide all icons if possible. Maybe replaced by two characters like in (it has an option to hide icons)

What's the lowest vertical resolution that netbooks typically have? 480?

1024x600 is common

Don't forget to account for the start menu bar.

Was going to make a post but did a search and found this thread. Just wanted to throw in another request for an option to scale the UI down to fit on my 1024x600 netbook screen! Thanks :)

It's on our list of things to do, still.

Hello, I am currently considering the purchase of  a netbook for the purpose of running this program.  lol, addict I guess.  I use a mac and dont have a pc, so the cheapeset option I think is a netbook to be able to use this program.

So, 2 questions.  Has there been an icon size fix for small screens?  Or a specific screen resolution to use to make the bottom trinkets viable?

My other question is, will there be a mac compatible rawr in the near future?

Rawr2 will not be compatible with these types of low resolutions. Rawr3 is already set up for it.

Send Astry an email about getting into the Rawr3 Beta (which is cross-platform).

A Mac running Mono something-or-rather should be able to run the current Rawr.  Rawr3 is in the near future, which will be a Silverlight (cross-platform, web-based) program.
