Pallies getting love?

Hi. First off I would like to say a big thank you for all the hard work on Rawr. I use it daily and suggest others use it too!!

I have not been seeing many updates for the ProtPally build so I just wanted to inquire if I could help in someway with the 3.2 adaptation?

I cant code but am very familar with ProtPally Mechanics.

We're most in need of developer support, but if any devs want to make changes as you tell them the mechanics changes, that works too. :)

The only real changes I think you can implement in the prot pally module.

There is a talent that brings the pally back to I think 30% HP when he's hit with a killing blow, but then the damage reduction component of the new Ardent Defender is gone.

Vindication talent in ret tree auto gives 'demo shout' to the target. The AP reduction is 574.

Ardent Defender change:

BEFORE: all damage while UNDER 35% HP was reduced by 30%. Example --> max HP is 100,000

Currently at 40,000, takes 40k hit with no talent mitigation, dead.
Currently at 30,000, takes 40k hit, left with 2k HP because the hit is reduced by 30%.

NOW: All damage taken beyond/below 35% HP is reduced by 30%. Example --> max HP is 100,000

Currently at 40,000, takes 40k hit, 5k unmitigated, but 35k takes 30% reduction from the talent. Left with 10.5k HP.

Blessing of Sanctuary now also increases stamina by 10 %.

But it does not stack with Blessing of Kings +10% stamina.

We also have some avoidance stuff to update with the patch.


45.25019 Dodge Rating = 1% chance to Dodge

45.25019 Perry Rating = 1% chance to Perry

1 Adjility = 0.016696 % Dodge


This is before diminishing returns which has not changed.

Any way I can help I would be glad to.  I am a game developer waiting to start a new job once it reaches and new stage of development, so have a fair chunk of free time.  I play paladins with the obsession of having 3 lol.  So just let me know how I can be off assistance.

More help is definitely welcome. Grab the source code, get it building, start poking around... When you'd like to make a change, upload the changed files as a patch. (All on the Source Code tab)

Just wondering if this problem / update has been fixed yet.

Been getting some worring looks while bidding on gear in ulduar runs - ppl saying the gear im going after is outdated and no longer good for me.

I'd be willing to donate more cash if the Prot Paladin module is fixed sooner (I'm sure others would as well). This shit is on your own time, and I can't believe you guys have dedicated as much as you have. I really hope this is helping your career in some way as a proof of 'talent'.

I moved a few states away about two months ago, and stopped playing WoW as a result, which led to not updating ProtPaladin.

I can spend a week or so putting in whatever necessary updates for 3.2 for good faith's sake, but I'd like some assistance from someone a bit more enthusiastic, with the intention of passing responsibility for further updates on to someone else.

Did anyone step up to the plate for coding more in the Pally Prot module?

Does anyone know if the parry, dodge, & agility values were changed due to 3.2 in said module?

ProtPally112 submitted a couple patches, which I'll be applying for 2.2.14.

If you guys looked at source code updates and my post on tuesday, I already handled it. Avoidance values are fixed, abilities are fixed.

I still will be needing help, though.
