My character is Seraphym on Caelestrasz server. When trying to load I get the error "There is an error in XML document (18, 4). Index was outside the bounds of the array." with a stack trace

I also get the same error when loading other people's characters except the error is in XML document (19,4).

Trying to use the web-based version, it either freezes and quits or I get an error message "System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.

I see, I'll just keep doing it manually.

However, the optmizer doesn't seem to work for me, I tried on two different computers with the same character. When I click optimize nothing happens. the app is using 100% of one cores cpu-power (25% on a quad core) but nothing happens, no progress bar. I'm using the last stable 5.2.0 build.

Edit: Pressing Cancel doesn't do anything. It just keeps running.

Just noticed that the same problem can be with the gemming. Look at my boots for instance, the best gem it exp/crit gem but on the same item rawr wants me to reforge from crit to dodge. Why isn't it suggesting dodge gem?

It's totally understandable, these are people doing this for the love of doing it. If the passion isn't there, well...

Anyway.
I found another bit if strange thing. You know I said that the reforging keeps on changing, ofc it recalculates every time I reforging an item telling me to go in another direction. However. I just went over the gear I have equiped, going item for item checking what it wanted me to do without really doing it. and here's the tally:

It wanted me to remove:
hit on two items
expertise on five items
haste on two items
crit on one item
mastery on three items

it wanted me to add:
mastery four times
crit five times
haste four times.

I just think it seems odd that it want me to remove stats several times and still add the same stat on another item. It wouldn't have been strange if I actually did the reforging on an item and then checked again, but this was just looking at the top ranked item in the list.

according to this the safe stats to decrease is hit and expertise.

Okay. Since the character appears to be a Guardian druid, and I'm not entirely certain what the status of the Bear module is, I'm going to have to say that I'm not sure if I can fix it. I'll keep this issue open and see if maybe we can get someone to look at it, but we're a bit short-handed on programmers at this time. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you.

My mage is on Lightbringer, Callmetimm. I have the LFR version of Cha Ye's, The darkmoon faire trinket upgraded twice, and the shadowpan assault trinket. When I run the optimizer, it is valuing the DMF trinket and the shado pan as my top two to max my dps. When I equip Cha ye's and Shadow Pan my dps seems to be increased.

Is there an issue with the trinket not modelling correctly?

When I initially load a frost mage file, either existing or download new from Battle.net, gear is ranked by survivability. If I change the mage spec to fire, gear is evaluated for dps, but tier pieces are given a negative rating. I tried this for my own mage Veviseron-Eitrigg and for Omnia-Stormreaver (both logged out as frost). Loading Omnia-Ticondrius (logged out as fire) worked normally.

Yes, that's a clearer summary. Also,

switch spec in Rawr to fire or arcane (in the Vev02 file above):
No talent: broken for fire (tier pieces are rated negative dps)
IW: broken for fire (tier pieces are rated negative dps)
No talent: broken for arcane (tier pieces are rated negative dps)
IW: broken for arcane (tier pieces are rated negative dps)
RoP: works for both
Invo: works for both

If I download Omnia-Tichondrius into Rawr (Omnia-Tichond-fire):
No talent: broken for fire (survival rating)
IW: broken for fire (survival rating)
RoP: works
Invo: works

Weird, broken in different ways depending on how I got there.

Changed Incanter's Ward to Rune of Power in frost spec, logged. Load into Rawr, works normally. Saved as Veviseron02.
In that file, unselect Rune talent switches to rating for survival. Select Incanters = rating for survival. Unselect, reselect Rune, rating goes back to dps. (I think Invocation was normal also.)
Problem solved, from my end: I can find gear for frost. I'm attaching the file, if you want to figure out what's going on. Thanks.

I looked at your profiles and the only difference between "ArcaneFrost" and "Frost" XML are the Talent and Glyph selections. You could give a try to taking your "ArcaneFrost" XML and switching Talents and Glyphs one by one (to match "Frost" XML) until you find the culprit. Or I might be able to get to it later this week.

Could you post both the "good" xml (log out as arcane, load, switch to frost, save) and the "bad" xml (log out as frost, load, save)? -- Assuming the "good" xml is still good after you close/restart Rawr and reopen that same saved XML. Thanks!
