Release Notes

Welcome to Rawr 2.1.4. Rawr is now designed for use with WoW 3.0, primarily for characters up to level 80. Some things to note:
•We're not done. We've included only the models that have been updated for WoW 3.0; older models are available via our source control only, since they're not of much use until they get updated.
•To help you stay updated with the latest changes, Rawr will now check for new available updates, notify you if there's a newer version, and offer to open Rawr's website for you.
•We now have support for loading item data from Wowhead. Please note that the Wowhead parsing is brand new, so there are bound to be bugs. Please report any bugs you find, and we'll try to get them fixed asap.

Recent Changes:
v2.1.4: Added tracking of item levels, and filtering by item level and a few other item properties. Added support for several additional buffs and enchants. Fixed Wowhead and Armory parsing for a few stats. Fixed CharacterProfiler support. ShadowPriest: Fixes for Optimization, and support for a few more buffs. HolyPriest: Fixes for Optimization and Haste calculations. Moonkin: Added support for a couple trinkets, allowed fist weapons, fixes to Starfire glyph calculations, fix for double application of Kings, and added support for user-defined rotations. Healadin: Added Burst Healing rating, support for Divine Favor and Divine Illumination. ProtWarr: Updated with correct base stats for all races at 80. Mage: Added a 3.0.8 calculation mode. Tree: Fixed haste and crit calculations. Cat: Adjusted base miss rate to 8%, added support for total % damage increases. Bear: Fixed a minor bug in DR calculations.

Reviews for this release

This is a fantastic program, i love using it on my mage and would just like to say thanks very much for updating this, its truly wonderful, and the item filters are great. One thing is i hardly pvp, and as im sorting possible upgrades for pre raid gear, it would be cool to have a filter for battleground/arena instead of just pvp, i never do arena but would consider doing BG's for the right gear,TY

Great job with the addition of the item filtering for WotLK items. Helps a lot when deciding how to gear up pre-raid.

I agree with BRaKaN. What is unsupported or not supported well will just take some time and some enthusiastic players that participate in developing those models. I've used it for feral and resto druid, prot paladin and shadow priest and this tool is fantastic... Sometimes what it recommends trips me out, but I try its recommendation and am pleasantly surprised... If it is wrong, help fix it.

For those of you rating this based on classes not currently supported, stop QQ'ing and read the discussions... Or you could even put your time and expertise to create a model that DOES what you are wanting, making the program that much more valuable for yourself and others... For the classes and specs it does support, it does an excellent job...

Rawr is excellent! Keep up the good work here. A feral druid.

Don't download if you plan on using this for your Death Knight. Stat weighting is completely wrong (there is more than one dps spec just fyi), only displays paladin tier sets for DKs not actual DK T7, and to top it off the wowhead item update isn't fully functional. Use LootRank until Rawr actually works.

Sigh, still no fix for warlocks.

I wouldn't call crashing every time you change gems "stable."
