Release Notes

- Not all models are completely ready for final release. Specifically in some models the trinket effects might be missing. If that is the case please manually edit the items and give them average stats until we make everything work. We have decided that even not being completely ready we should make a release so that you can work with all the 3.1 modeling changes.
- All talent trees and tooltips updated to 3.1
- Option to display gem names in tooltips
- Fix for tooltip rendering
- Rawr.ProtPaladin: calculation fixes
- Rawr.TankDK: updated for 3.1
- Rawr.HolyPriest, Rawr.ShadowPriest: glyph updates
- Rawr.Tree: Nature's Bounty, Revitalize

Reviews for this release

Love the program! Great work on it! Question though. I have a DK Tank, is Runeforging taken into account? Rune of the Stoneskin Gargoyle give me 2% Stamina for example. Am I just a moron and don't realize the rune is already taken into account somewhere? I just noticed a small difference in health between Rawr and Armory and cant figure out where the difference comes from.

Hey, i don't understand why people rate a release without even testing it... Check the known issues first, wait for the proper class release, and then rate it! I appreciate the awesome effort from the team ... as for bear and kitty i think its more than enough to test speccs/gear... Good job guys, keep it up!

semaphore instead of asking if he's mentally challenged maybe ask what problem he ran into. Kyhunter try installing the .NET framework before running RaWR. -Installing 3.5 right now as it will not load on my machine either (WinXP Pro SP3) FIXED WITH .NET UPDATE

Perhaps if he was more polite instead of just saying "it sucks". If he perhaps included some issues then perhaps my response would have been more diplomatic. What error do you get hunter?

As a mage, I have found nothing better. It seems to take into effect almost every possibility regarding buffs, gear, etc. Also, the amount of effort and updating that goes into this is amazing and I really appreciate it. I look forward to every update.

I like the tool, though I too could not retrieve toons from the armory- easy workaround through char profiler.

Great program! So much better than static gear weights. The person who said it doesn't work with XP is wrong. Likely they didn't install .net, which is very clearly says you need to do.

Rawr works JUST FINE on Windows XP SP2 and SP3. I've used it now for a very long time with absolutely OUTSTANDING theorycrafting results for many of my characters. Not only does this application work fine, it's easily the best single tool for getting amazing results from your gear, gems, enchant, and talent spec choices. There is nothing better than RAWR!
