Release Notes

- Not all models are completely ready for final release. Specifically in some models the trinket effects might be missing. If that is the case please manually edit the items and give them average stats until we make everything work. We have decided that even not being completely ready we should make a release so that you can work with all the 3.1 modeling changes.
- Fix for crashing bug when editing gemming templates and custom gemmings
- Fix for the PPMs of several weapon enchants
- Rawr.Retribution: Updated to 3.1 boss armor values
- Rawr.Cat: Fix for stacking of temporary ArPen effects, with different uptimes.
- Rawr.HolyPriest: Better support for a few trinkets.

NOTE: Rawr.DPSWarr has some calculation issues with Agility in Rawr v2.2.3 and v2.2.4. DPSWarr users, please revert to v2.2.2, until we can get v2.2.5 released, in the next day or two. Sorry!

Reviews for this release

It's a Windows application, it won't run under Mac OS X. I have it installed in a Parallels virtual machine, and it works fine that way. Very useful tool.

I'm trying to download this application for Mac OS X and I'm following the instructions in the ReadMe. However, I still cannot open Rawr. Can someone please help me?

Works perfectly, especially when compared to 2.2.3 and models my glove enchants. Still lacks my engineering cloak enchants, but I can use close values for what I have ingame on those. This program also showed me that the flasks I use while tanking are not as good as I had hoped (spell damage on a pally tank doing AOE tanking) and that my spare bracers are actually slightly better than main ones.

This is by far and away the best tool/resource for WoW,,,Handsdown!!! Oh sure there is work to be done but the scope of this program is awesome indeed!!

Is there any way to search for an item on the right side to upgrade my items?

I skipped 2.2.3 version because of crashing bug and went from 2.2.2 to 2.2.4. In 2.2.3 release notes you mention fixing the improved moonkin form spi->SP for 3.1.2 patch. (10,20,30% scaling) But in 2.2.4 the talent tree doesn't show this change (scaling still 5,10,15%). The calculations on stats tab are correct but only if you have checked Improved Moonkin Form under buffs tab.

Bear agility stacking became all of a sudden a lot more important than stacking other stats, in previous versions, there was a balance between stats, now that doesn't exist anymore.

as with past releases of rawr, there is no option for glyphs for hunters, witch greatly affect dps.also in shot rotation there is nothing for black arrow for the survival hunter. :(
by thirtyotsix on May 16, 2009 at 10:26 PM
Calculations for hunter mode don't seem to be taking Hunter Vs. Wild into account (the Survival talent where 30% of stamina is granted as additional attack power).

The Warlock module seems to have a lot of problems. The Glyphs no longer affect the dps. The item ranks are way off from v2.2.2 and previous versions. I think I'll wait for a new version.

There are some issues with DPSWarr for arms warriors. Checking glyph of rend decreases DPS, and Sudden Death is always showing 0 in the DPS breakdown, claiming it should not be used in rotation, therefore the talents Sudden Death and Imp Execute has no effect on dps. Damage seems highly based on mortal strike and slam. Overpower also seems to barely contribute to dps, which is wrong.

DPSWarr is broken. Gives silly ratings for Agility. DPS Warriors need to continue to use 2.2.2

Looking good, at least for holy paladins. There is an error with putting a JC gem into item:46035. It's not being calculated correctly. Also QQ for the Hunter model, wtb updates. ty.

Gem feature works, thanks for the quick update. :) Resto Druid features also are working for me so far.
