Closing because this is an issue with randomly enchanted gear, which should be fixed in 5.4.2. If it continues to be a problem, open a new issue.

Good luck I get a straight up Microsoft crash when I try to load my character off of battlenet. It won't even show me the RAWR error code or message. Imagine how incredibly annoying this is after having updated both Silverlight AND unistalling AND REINSTALLING .Net Framework.

I loathe Mr. Robot and I don't trust it for a minute, but hey, at least it WORKS.

If you're using the Silverlight version of Rawr, I haven't been able to publish the latest version since I took over build management; Elitist Jerks informs me that they have been having trouble on their end. In any case, I do not know the state of the addon.

I had rewritten the addon for self use about 3 or 4 months into MoP, the problem was that RAWR itself was not updated for it. The only thing I really did was correct the weapon slots (wands, guns that used to be off hand items for warriors, etc) and a few other things that at this point I honestly cannot recall. It worked enough to ctrl-c the character and self bag slots in game, but I had not gotten it to successfully scan the bank at that point.

That is beside the point, however. Sorry for my post the other day I was just extremely frustrated with what was going on. I am using the RAWR.WPF.exe file, this is what is crashing. I can't even USE the Silverlight version because as you mentioned, it's not available at the moment on Elitist Jerks, regardless of how old or new (I tried older versions as well as the latest version) your version of Silverlight is.

Now I can't even use RAWR.WPF.exe. I am going to submit a screen shot of the error I am getting, I am going to open it up while I am typing this and attempt to load my alt character, my mage, this seems to be the only character that this crash is happening on. My Death Knight loads absolutely perfectly, though I don't need to use RAWR with him. :) I apologize I did not provide any valuable information yesterday, there were about 10 things going on that were already building up pressure, then I just kind of went off when this kept crashing despite my greatest efforts.

Interesting, I had added the screenshot but it did not take, this is just a post to attempt to post the screen shot once again... For the record, if the screen shot does not load for whatever reason it chooses not to (it is only 524 KB, no where NEAR the 4MB limit), I have also uploaded it to Tinypic and included the link here.

...and now I see that in loading it the second time it pushed BOTH through. Splendid. :) For future query, is there any way you can implement an "Edit" feature to these comments? I hate double and triple posting and to be able to edit an original post would be much more "pleasant" in more ways than one. Just curious.

Looks like there's yet another new set of randomly enchanted gear that I'm guessing was introduced with 5.3 that is causing problems. Perhaps the set from the Barrens? If you have any of these pieces, try swapping them out and trying again until I can get all the new random enchantment data loaded.
