Torment of the Weak

It appears that in a heavy Frost build, using Frostbolts, Torment of the Weak does not affect my dps. Snared Time is set to 0, since it should be a self-snaring cycle.

The talent works fine when someone else is applying the snare, but it doesn't seem to recognize that I am. Am I doing something wrong?

It doesn't consider the snares you apply, it just looks at Snared Time. For frostbolts, you'd set Snared Time to 1.

Ok, but the tooltip for Snared Time is, "Percentage of time that the target is snared by someone else, cycles that provide snare override this to 1," which is sort of misleading.

Thanks for the quick response!

Sorry for the confusion, I just didn't have time to create any cycles that maintain snare yet. You're correct that frostbolt spam would maintain snare on snareable mobs, but right now I'm assuming that bosses aren't snareable. I'll probably add another option to set whether the target is snareable and if it's not set then only Slow cycles will count (which I don't have any implemented so far).
