Hey all. I'll be releasing Rawr 2.0.3 on Friday night, so please get your changes in before then! This will be our last release aimed at level 70 combat.

After that, we'll focus on updating all of our models for level 80 combat, and expect to release Rawr 2.1 just before WotLK comes out.

Hi Astrylian !
It will be Rawr 3.0.3 or Rawr 2.0.3 (and Rawr 2.1 instead of 3.1 for lvl 80) ?
Because the present version is 2.0.2.

Thank you !

I think it was just a typo, due to both Rawr and WoW versions ending in ".0.3"

Oops.   o.O

Rawr.Moonkin is in a stable state right now.  The only feature that's missing is the Starfire glyph, which probably won't make it for 2.0.3 (yay for first-time BT clear), but that doesn't mean I won't try.

So, ran out of time with other stuff tonight. Sorry, but no 2.0.3 tonight. And I'm gone all day tomorrow, so probably going to be midday Sunday. Sorry for the delay, everyone.

On the bright side, the other hobby taking up most of my time lately (ie, taking time away from Rawr), is done... http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=11829534593&sid=1&pageNo=1

Can you update the talent trees? At least hunters has some changes.

Will do.

Nice model. I can almost hear the gorillas outside the town :-)

Something missing though.... No "?" on top of some guy's heads ;-)

Astryl, all --

I have completed the integrated of an Enhancement Shaman module with Rawr.  I'm currently tweaking some of the reports and cross testing with Enhsim to ensure my results aren't wildly inaccurate.  If all goes well I'll be checking in today or tomorrow.

The goal is to get a base framework in place, one that can detect relative stat weights and properly model the aspects of the shaman that are counter intuitive -- weapon speed, on-hit/on-crit uptime, windfury proc rates, maelstrom weapon and cooldown interference.  To cut down on the amount of work and to produce straightforward code, I will only be modeling WF/FT for the time being.  Considering that this will be the defacto setup at L80, and seems to have competetive results at L70 with much less RNG interference, I think it's a good baseline.

In the future I'd like to include a Bayesian model of windfury, considering different hasted weapon speeds and dual WF.  Since gearing, especially weapon choice, is classically the most difficult part of playing an Enhancement Shaman, having a fast, accurate model is essential.

Ebo: Shit, sorry, I completely forgot to update the talent trees before posting 2.0.3. :(  Is there a big enough change that we need a 2.0.4?

Toots: Awesome, can't wait to see it.

No, I don't think so. They just moved 3 talents around. Nothing where you can't work around.
