Optimized Healing

When looking at the gear comparisons, I know that the burst is what mana you have and the sustained is without mana restrictions.  When optimizing the gear that is marked, what would be a good, or fair, ratio to optimize at?  Would a burst:sustained ratio of 1:1 be good or would 2:1 be better?  i am trying to optimize the best SP, MP5 & mana (or SP, crit & mana for pallies) possible for some of my guildies as well as my own characters.

Burst is your max HPS without restrictions, Sustained is your HPS within the restrictions you currently have (buffs, time, spells).

Also, might help if you post the specific module you are talking about as well, as any advice could be markedly different between classes.

Well, you mixed up the descriptions of burst and sustained, but I assume you know that. But as for ratio, 1:1 is a good balance to start with, then tweak it as necessary (tweak toward more sustained if you're running OOM, more burst if you're not). There's no single right answer.
