Hi all.  Just noticed the meta gem Effulgent Skyflare Diamond doesn't seem to be accounting for the 2% reduction in spell damage taken.

Which model?  Also, previous to 3.1 (apparently), this meta did not actually affect spell damage taken, but instead increased your spell resistances by 2%, which made this meta effectively worthless.

I am using the latest model 2.29.  I was aware that the gem giving spell resistance before patch 3., however, according to WowHead, the meta gem has been fixed to correctly affect spell damage now.

Okay, you're using Rawr version 2.2.9.  What _model_ are you using?  Are you a tank DK, a prot warrior, a prot paladin, or a bear?

Sorry about that...prot paladin.

The Effuglent Skyflare Diamond does not appear to be implemented properly in the TankDK module either.

This might be related to the fact that that metagem isn't implemented properly in WoW either. Try it; it doesn't work in-game. It currently acts as a 1.02x multiplier to your resists. If you have 0 resists, it has 0 effect. If you have 200 resist, it gives you 4 more resist.

Incorrect:

As of patch 3.1, the Effulgent Skyflare Diamond now properly reduces incoming spell damage by 2%. See: http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=55345 for the new spell effect for the meta.
